Home Finding Trip
RelocationOttawa works closely with the client to ensure they are prepared for their home finding trip. After the initial contact with the client, an information package will be forwarded to them which may include the following:

Upon arrival, an orientation tour of the destination location is provided to the
client. This tour highlights some of the following areas:
- Traffic routes and public transportation system
- Schools, colleges
- Shopping
- Religious organizations
- Medical clinics and hospitals
- Recreation facilities
- Police and emergency services
- Accompanied viewing of pre-selected properties
- Negotiation of offer to purchase and lease terms
- Transfer and installation of utilities
- Assistance with any other applicable local area information requirements
